Color Blindness Exam 1.0

Approximately 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women experience color blindness to some extent. The most prevalent type of color blindness is commonly referred to as 'red-green color blindness'.

Color blindness, also known as color vision deficiency in the field of vision science, is a condition where the retinal cone cells react differently to light compared to individuals with normal vision. Those with color blindness are generally still capable of perceiving colors, but they may encounter confusion or difficulty differentiating certain color pairs.

Our application offers a convenient and efficient method for both adults and children to assess their color blindness.

The color blindness examination provided by our app is based on the well-regarded color perception test developed by Dr. Shinobu Ishihara, which is widely used by eye care professionals worldwide.

As the examination begins, test images will be presented to you. These images may or may not contain a visible number consisting of one or more digits.

You will be prompted to type the number you observe within the image, and then select the "Done" button.

If no number is visible in the image, you have the option to select the "Pass" button instead.
